New & Noteworthy

In my inaugural New & Noteworthy list of 2020, I keep myself honest and prune my list. I also add one new restaurant, which has been receiving coverage for a few months hyping its opening, Verōnika, the latest from restauranteur Stephen Starr and design studio Roman and Williams. Verōnika is named after the patron saint of photography and lives in the newly opened Stockhom-based photography museum, Fotografiska. Chef Robert Aikens hails from the Rainbow Room has created a menu that draws inspiration from France and Eastern Europe. I hope to dine there next week and am eyeballing the potato pierogi with sour cream and caviar — seems like the right dish to start the new year.

New & Noteworthy (week of Jan 6)

This weekly list is not comprehensive of every new place but a short alphabetized list of new places that I think are notable.  Restaurants that have been opened for more than three months will not be included.
