New & Noteworthy
As noted in last week’s list, I am removing my interest in visiting Red Paper Clip. It’s not like I am super busy but I am not in the mood these days to commit to pre-fixe/tasting menu meals, not to mention the generally hefty price tags, unless the dishes are really special. It sounds like it may be worth waiting a bit more to see if Red Paper Clip evolves its dishes to again pique my interest.
And while I am not necessarily a temaki super-fan, I am adding Nami Nori, a new West Village restaurant from some ex-Masa vets. The casual nature and pricing invites sampling, so hoping to stop by in the next week or so to check it out.
